• PSUs Using GATE Score: Some of the PSUs that use GATE scores for candidate shortlisting include BHEL, GAIL, HAL, IOCL, NTPC, NPCIL, ONGC, and PGCIL.
• Central Government Posts: GATE scores are now used for direct recruitment to Group A level posts in the Central government, such as Senior Field Officer (Tele), Senior Research Officer (Crypto), and Senior Research Officer (S&T) in the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India.
