Eligibility Criteria of SSC CPO Recruitment
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 to 25 years old as of August 1, 2024. They should have been born between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2004, to be eligible to apply.
- Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxations in the upper age limit for different categories are as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Those who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply, provided they possess the essential qualification on or before the cutoff date, i.e., August 1, 2024.
- Additional Requirement for Male Candidates applying for Sub Inspector in Delhi Police: Male candidates applying for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT) to be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police. Male candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for the post of Sub-Inspector in CAPFs only.
