Eligibility Criteria of ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2023
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 years and 24 years of age as of 20.09.2023. In other words, the candidate’s date of birth should be between 20.09.1999 and 20.09.2005.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- PwBD (OBC/NCL): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

Here are the details regarding the stipend for ONGC Apprentice positions:
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 9,000 per month
- Trade Apprentice: Rs. 7,000 per month
- Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 8,000 per month
The duration of training for all trades is 12 months, and candidates can choose and apply for one trade at one work center/location only.
Selection Process of ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2023
Here are some important points to note for the ONGC Apprentice recruitment:
- Selections for engagement of Apprentices will be based on merit, which is drawn from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as mentioned in the advertisement. In cases where there is a tie in merit, the candidate with the higher age will be given preference.
- Any form of canvassing or attempting to influence the selection process is not acceptable and may lead to the rejection of the candidature.
- The reservation of positions will be in accordance with the Government of India Policy for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS categories.

- For Trade – Accounts Executive and Office Assistant: Register with the National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at the NSDC Apprenticeship Portal.
- For Trade Apprentices: Register with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) at Apprenticeship Portal.
- For Technician Apprentices: Register with the concerned Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development at NATS Portal.
- Apply Online: After successful registration, candidates can apply online for the ONGC Apprentice positions by visiting the official ONGC Recruitment Portal.
- Fill Details: Fill in all your personal and educational details and upload the necessary documents as required.
- Submission: Submit the completed application form online.
- Print Application: After submitting the form, don’t forget to take a printout of the application for your reference.
