Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer Recruitment

Age Eligibility:

Stenographer Grade C: Applicants must be between 18 to 30 years old as of August 1, 2023. This means candidates born between August 2, 1993, and August 1, 2005, are eligible to apply.

Stenographer Grade D: Candidates should be between 18 to 27 years old as of August 1, 2023. This implies that individuals born between August 2, 1996, and August 1, 2005, are eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST: A relaxation of 5 years of age is applicable.

OBC: A relaxation of 3 years in age is applicable.

PwD (Unreserved): Candidates falling under the PwD category and belonging to the unreserved category can avail a relaxation of 10 years of age.

PwD (OBC): A relaxation of 13 years of age is applicable.

PwD (SC/ST): Individuals categorized as PwD and belonging to the SC/ST category can avail a relaxation of 15 years of age.

Educational Requirement: Applicants should have successfully completed the 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Application Fees:

SC/ST/PWD/ESM/Women: No application fee is applicable.

UR/OBC: An application fee of Rs 100/- is required.

Payment Methods: The fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit cards. Alternatively, the fee can also be paid in cash at SBI Branches by generating an SBI Challan.
