Eligibility Criteria for Transport Department Assam Recruitment 2024
Citizenship:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- The candidate must produce either a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must possess:
- A Degree in Arts/Science or Commerce from a recognized university by the Government of Assam, OR
- H.S.S.L.C with a 3-year Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute by the Government of Assam/Government of India, and duly recognized by AICTE.
Age Limit:
- Candidates should be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
