To fill out the Voter ID Form 6A for new registration (Desh ka Form), follow these steps:

  1. Open the New Voters ID Online Registration portal and access Form 6.

  3. Enter the OTP or SMS password received on your mobile number.
  4. Fill in your basic details accurately in the form.
  5. Upload your recent photograph and any other related documents as required.
  6. Review the information entered and documents uploaded.
  7. Submit the completed form along with the necessary documents to the concerned authority for further processing.

  5. Your E-Voter ID Card will be available for download in digital format.

Citizens of India who are over 18 years of age can apply to register for a Voter ID. The citizen should have attained the age of 18 by the qualifying date of January 1st.

General Resident Electors are citizens of India who are residing in the country. NRI Electors or Overseas Electors are citizens of India who stay outside of India. Citizens under both the categories are eligible to vote only if they are above the age of 18 years.
A resident Indian or individuals who fall under the ˜General Resident Electors' can register for a Voter ID with nvsp Form 6. The form can be obtained from the Electoral Registration Office or the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer of that particular constituency or from Booth level officers of that particular constituency. The form can also be downloaded from the Election Commission website.
